At Guava, we understand that unexpected circumstances arise. However, late cancellations and missed appointments impact our team and prevent other clients from accessing our limited appointment availability. We ask for your understanding and cooperation with the following policy.

Cancellation Notice Requirements

48 Hours' Notice Required
We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for all cancellations and rescheduling requests. This allows us time to offer your appointment to another client and ensures our practitioners' time is respected.

Cancellation Fees

Late Cancellations (Less than 24 hours' notice)
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the booked service value. This fee will be charged to the payment method on file or invoiced for payment before your next appointment.


No-Shows
If you do not attend your appointment and have not contacted us, you will be charged 100% of the booked service value.


Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and genuine illness occur. In such circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible. Management will assess exceptional situations on a case-by-case basis with discretion and compassion.


Repeat Cancellations
Clients with a pattern of late cancellations or no-shows may be required to:

  • Provide a deposit to secure future appointments
  • Book services with a credit card on file
  • Accept alternative booking arrangements

This policy helps us maintain fairness for all clients and respect for our team.

Salon-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that we need to cancel your appointment (due to unforeseen circumstances, practitioner illness, or facility issues), we will:

  • Contact you as soon as possible
  • Offer you priority rebooking at your earliest convenience
  • Provide a complimentary add-on service or complimentary product gift or service where time & stock allows for the inconvenience
