Arrival
At Guava your appointment and the time we spend together is important to us.
In order for us to provide the best treatment possible for you, Please arrive 10-15 mins prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid altering or reschedulling your service due to lack of time originally allocated.

Getting to your appointment
Please allow ample time for traffic around peak times, especially for appointments scheduled around school times.
If you’re running late, please contact Guava on (03) 5971 4927. We endeavor to give you as much of our time as possible. A grace period of up to 10 minutes depending will be given. Later arrivals may incur a late fee and result in your service being rescheduled completely.

Curly clients please remember
To achieve maximum results in your appointment please:
-Wash and condition your hair within 24-48 hours of your appointment (not on the day of your visit)
-Please ensure minimal products are applied.
-Your hair must be completely dry and styled in it’s natural curl pattern, no ironing, blowaving or tying up before your appointment with us as its important to not disrupt your natural curl formation for cutting.
-We encourage you to bring along inspiration photos to your initial appointment with us or where a restyle service is booked this is a great talking point and allows us to create the perfect look for you!

Head Spa
For the health and safety of our guests Guava’s Head Spa services are not recommended or suitable for children under the age of 16 years, all stages of pregnancy and guests that have hair extensions installed.

Guava provides in room diffuse hairdryers and styling tools to dry your hair post Head Spa service within a 15minute time frame added onto your service time with us. Guava also offers in salon professional blowaves to further enhance your treatment with us.

Mobile Phones
On arrival, we please ask that your either turn off your mobile phone or switch it to silent in consideration of others and to enjoy your much deserved “me” time.

Children
Children are welcome to visit alongside you at Guava HAIR though please keep in mind our guest’s visit us to relax and enjoy our calming space. Guava SPA is a child free area as we perform specialised relaxation services.

If you are bringing your child to your hair appointment, please consider the length of time you are visiting and to perhaps make alternative plans or please phone the team on 03) 5971 4927 to discuss a more child-appropriate time to visit. We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist you in making your time with us as relaxing as possible.

Health Concerns
When scheduling your appointment, please inform or remind us of any health conditions and medications you are taking, or if you are pregnant. This information is important to your stylist or therapist when making accurate recommendations of treatments and homecare.

In some circumstances it may be required that you obtain medical certification before having a treatment performed. this allows us to be able to safely provide your service otherwise we may have to be alter your original booking to suit any contraindications present. The health and wellbeing of our clients is very important to us at Guava.
